Those Four Guys (T.F.G.)
consists of four experienced, recognized and multiple award-winning musicians - Janko Novoselic on drums, Goran Delač on bass, Marko First on violin, sopils and bagpipes, and Petar Ćulibrk on piano, rhodes and synths. The project, which started as a joke during the first COVID isolation, quickly turned into a serious author's story with 9 compositions that are difficult to place in style drawers. Given that each of them draws their inspiration from their musical background, the influences of ethnic, blues, jazz, soul, electronica and hip hop can be heard among the compositions.

Petar Ćulibrk
was born in Dubrovnik (Dec 10th,1986). He started playing piano at the age of 7, continuing his education at the Luka Sorkočević Art School and graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Music in 2011. He started playing jazz at the age of 14.

After his arrival in Zagreb, he worked with Morana Mesić in the Afinado quartet, as well as with numerous other Croatian and international jazz musicians - Matija Dedić, Jasna Bilušić, Saša Nestorović, Mladen Baraković, Mario Igrec, Zvonimir Šestak, Filip Pavić, Aleksandar Vešić, Goran Delač, Marko First, Miro Kadoić, Martin Gjakonovski, Vasil Hadžimanov, Milan Pavković,the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra, etc.

Since 2010 he has been perfecting his skill at numerous seminars run by - Kenny Barron, Tony Monaco, Stefan Heckel, Renato Chicco, Joe Kaplowitz, Adam Holzman, Alan Broadbent, Eric Reed. From 2008 to 2014 he taught piano at the School for Jazz and Popular Music.

From 2013 to 2018, he was professor of music theory at the Fran Lhotka Secondary Music School in Sisak. He briefly continued his professional journey in the Netherlands, and upon his return he taught piano in Petrinja. Since 2021 he has been a professor of music theory at the Dugo Selo Music School. He has played as a pianist in the Corona Quartet, with Morana Mesić, in the Vjekoslav Crljen Trio; in recent years he has been especially active with the More Love Ensamble, Cloud Buzz, Miro Kadoić Quartet and Those For Guys.

He won the 2nd prize at the first Croatian jazz competition in 2015. He also won 2 Status Awards for Best Jazz Pianist in 2020 and 2023. His first solo album "Old School" was nominated for the Porin award in the best jazz album category in 2023.

Goran Delač

Janko Novoselić
plays drums and writes music. Also plays a bit of guitar, piano and bass. In 2006. he graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria.

Born in 1983 in Zagreb, finished elementary and music high school Elly Bašić, in which he played piano and learned musical theory. He attended percussion classes in music school Lisinski in the class of professor Elvira Happ. Won second place in the classical percussion competition in Pula 2002. Finished high school took him to the jazz academy in Graz, in the class of prof. Manfred Josel. He graduated in 2006. with excellent results and same year won the award „Status“ for the best jazz instrumentalist in Croatia.

Since he was a little child he was interested in drums. The first set of drums Janko made from the metal cake box, one tom and two small cymbals. As a very young boy (less than 10 years old), he performed with Croatian group Vještice in BP Club and Kulušić.

He played with famous musicians from Croatian, European and world jazz scene: Miles Griffith, Adrienne West, Gaynel Hodge (The Platters), Andy Middleton, Fritz Pauer, Tamara Obrovac, Zoran Madžirov, Elvis Stanić, Hrvoje Rupčić, Matija Dedić, Saša Nestorović, Ladislav Fidri, Boško Petrovič, Miro Kadoić, Ivan Kapec, Ante Gelo, Mladen Baraković, Arsen Dedić i Gabi Novak, Massimo, Marko Tolja, Jure Pukl and many others.

Janko is one of the co-founders of drum'n'bass / rock / noise band Bilk.


Versatile, as is, Janko is recording advertising commercials, music for theater, authoring songs and other in the studios RKF Production, IDM, Krama Sonik and Morris Music Studio. Composes, records and produces his own music, so it's not surprising that his song was released on the compilation 'Dancing Bear Lounge 08'.

Currently collaborating with: LessThanAMinute, The Beat Fleat, Adam Klemm quintet, Fine Noize ft. Miles Griffith, Vještice, MatMar, Trianguli Zona, MiroKado Quartet and Gelo / Bjelinski orchestra. In collaboration with Elvis Penava he leads jazz band Satellite which has released its debut album in 2010. Janko also leads a project of improvised experimental electronic music called Kozmodrum, which got Croatian Music Award Porin for the best alternative and club music album of alternative and club music.

Marko First
was born on June 15th 1984 in Zagreb, Croatia. He gained his first musical education in Music School "Blagoje Bersa" in Zagreb, taking the violin course, from 1990 to 1999. Soon after he became a member of Zagreb Folkdance Ensemble "dr. Ivan Ivančan". He`s been attending Croatian School of Folklore for many years where he learned to play tamburitzas and different traditional croatian instruments. He graduated from college (Studia Croatica at the University of Zagreb) in 2010, courses philosophy and sociology, with the final paper on the subject "Philosophy of Music: Meaning, Expression and Understanding". During his musical education Marko First also attended jazz workshop in Grožnjan (2011) as well as numerous other workshops.

In 2006 he became the artistic director of the Zagreb Folkdance Ensemble orchestra. He colaborated and colaborates with bands, ansambles and musicians such as Massimo Savić, Cinkuši, HRT Jazz Orchestra, HRT Tamburitza Orchestra, Valungari, Miroslav Škoro, Jaques Houdek, The Frajle, Adastra, Picksiebner, Croatian Bagpipe Orchestra, Kvartet Gubec, Drugi način, Pavel, Bang Bang, Damjans (Giipuja), Oridano gipsy jazz band, Mate Matišić, More Love Ensemble, Ana Opačak, Nikolina Tomljanović, Damjan Krajačić, &M Dance Company etc. During the 2010, 2011 and 2015 he performed as a soloist with the 100 Tamburitzas orchestra in Budapest and Zagreb, and also from 2009 to 2011 as a soloist with the Russian National Orchestra of Traditional Instruments "Ossipov", having concerts in Strassbourg, Paris, Moscow and in the General Assembly of the UN in New York. From 2016 he plays in the orchestra of National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia LADO.

  In 2010 Marko First as an music arranger, along with the choreographer Stjepan Perko, won the first prize at the Croatian Folklore Choreography Competition for the choreography "Za gorami, dolinami, tam vojaci logruju". In 2018, in collaboration with choreographer Ivan Ivančan jr., also won the first prize at the same competition, this time with choreography named "Kiritof". He also colaborated with Marko Kovačić (lyrics) and Damir Zagoršćak (music) on a song "San" (writing the arrangement), which in 2013 won the first prize in VGF music festival in Croatia. He is the recipient of three "Status" awards (awarded by Croatian Musicians Union) for musicianship in years 2015, 2016 and 2019. He recorded music for a number of films, commercials and theatre plays.
