Info for Wednesday Night
Eastbound Buzz arrived on the scene in 2019 as a force to be reckoned with both live and on record, with their debut EP ‘Opportunity Shop’ receiving national airplay and garnering significant attention. Centred around lead single ‘Looking for Trouble’, described as ‘a spectacular alt-country, road trip, tear-jerker’ (Nkechi Anele, Triple J), the EP introduced audiences to the Melbourne four-piece’s distinctive brand of Americana-tinged alt-rock.
Not content to sit on their laurels, the band followed up their debut EP with new single ‘Lost in the Shuffle’ in late 2019, capping off a year that included feature interviews on Triple J’s ‘Roots and All’ and RRR’s ‘Twang’, as well as live shows with the likes of Kingswood, MID CITY and The Northern Folk.
With new music and a heap of live shows on the cards in 2020, Eastbound Buzz are showing no signs of slowing down. The boys will be kicking things off with the release of new single ‘Every 15’, which sees the band’s emotional, energetic strain of alt-rock at its most intense and enthralling.
