….or the recipe for an intoxicating musical cocktail. To do this, it’s simple, take the time to carefully select your ingredients.Choose a musician of Czech origin, living in Berlin, erudite virtuoso of baroque music. Mix it with three Parisian musicians, long-time companions, specialized in world music, jazz and improvised forms. Shake everything vigorously in a shaker, adding color, intrepid ideas and a perfect sense of rhythm and shape. Incorporate ancient and traditional musical influences from around the world. Pour the resulting mixture into a well-chilled autumnal glass. Zest it all with joy, smiles and communicative commitment. You will then obtain original music, an explosive cocktail that will make your head spin with happiness, to consume without moderation.

"The meeting of 4 musicians who were not meant to meet! They each specialize in baroque music, jazz or improvised music and felt the desire to create their own universe with their compositions, which are only the fusion of who they are."

Roxane Martin for Modal, a participatory site to promote traditional music & dances and oral cultures.

Anna Fusek
She studied recorder, violin and piano in Rotterdam, Berlin and Basel. In addition to her studies in musicology and philosophy in Berlin, she took theater lessons in New York. As a soloist on her favorite instrument, the recorder, she began her career in 2007 at the Berlin Philharmonic. Apart from her activity as a musician, she also works as an actress and performer.

Gabriel Levasseur
Trained in Jazz, an eclectic musician curious about everything and a specialist in nothing. After experiences on the World, Chanson and Jazz stages, he mainly turned to music for the stage and the image. He created and directs the choir Toujours Les Mêmes, and has collaborated for 20 years with the association “Clowns sans Frontières”. As a composer he has written about ten film scores

Nicolas Cambon
A multi-instrumentalist, multicultural, he has worked in many groups: symphonic and baroque orchestras, brass bands, but also big bands and small jazz and world music ensembles. As a fervent defender of amateur practice, he leads the Fanfare L’Improbubble Bang.

Karsten Hochapfel
In 2005, a scholarship at the Cité des Arts allowed him to come and settle in Paris. Since then, he has played, arranged and composed for many jazz, world music and improvised music groups. This has allowed him to collaborate with a multitude of musicians and artists. Collects all kinds of string instruments and strives to master them all!
