Der stimmgewaltige Kanadier Matt Andersen, der seit seinem Auftritt in -Ina's Nacht- auch in Deutschland endlich bekannter geworden ist, meldet sich mit einem Live-Album zurück, das es in sich hat: -Live at Olympic Hall- präsentiert ihn mit seiner mitreißenden Band The Mellotones in Höchstform. Gleich mit dem Opener -Weightless- zeigt die 10-köpfige Band ihre geballte Power und Präzision mit 4 Bläsern, zeitweise 3 Gitarristen, die ein solistisches Feuerwerk nach dem anderen abbrennen, Keyboards, Bass und Schlagzeug.

Matt Andersen, der normalerweise allein nur mit seiner Gitarre auftritt, wird wahrlich mitgerissen und getragen von den Mellotones und liefert eine überzeugende, bärenstarke Performance.
