Das 16 Titel umfassende Album erkundet die komplexe Mischung aus Trauer, Liebe und Selbstfindung. „How to be human“ handelt vom letzten Jahr meines Lebens. Ich erlebte gleichzeitig den Tod eines geliebten Menschen und den Liebeskummer meiner ersten Beziehung und hatte keine Ahnung, wie ich diese Situation überstehen sollte. Dieses Album zu machen, war meine introspektive und neurodivergente Art, mit dem Liebeskummer und dem Verlust meines Großvaters, dem ich sehr nahe stand, umzugehen – es ist mein Trostalbum. Während der Arbeit wurde mir klar, wie vielen Menschen es helfen könnte. Ich hoffe, es spendet auch ihnen etwas Trost und zeigt, wie man wieder auf die Beine kommt.“
