Der Chor des Merton College trifft sich mit der Britten Sinfonia, um einige beliebte anglikanische Werke in ihrer vollen orchestralen Pracht zu präsentieren.

Stanford in A, wie es ursprünglich 1880 zu hören war, zeigt seine symphonische Seite, nicht zuletzt im meisterhaften und beredten Nunc dimittis.
