Wojciech Fudala
Born in 1988 in a family of musicians, Wojciech Fudala started to play cello at the age of seven. He received higher education at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music Katowice with Pawel Glombik and at the Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music as a pupil of Jeroen Reuling.. Wojciech Fudala is a laureate of international music competitions in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Belgium. He has been awarded as an “Outstanding Young Artist” by the Polish Ministry of Culture and the President of City Katowice. He received a scholarship of the Flemish Government and the Polish Ministry of Culture. He is an active performing artist, both as a soloist and a chamber musician. He has appeared in the most important concert halls of Poland and abroad. He made his debut in Belgium performing Haydn D Major concerto with the Brussels Chamber Orchestra at the great hall of Brussels Royal Conservatory. Wojciech Fudala plays an 18th century cello made by Benjamin Banks lent to him by The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. Since 2011 he is studying at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under the direction of Gary Hoffman.
