“Song for Ainola” appears on Bryce Dessner’s upcoming album “Solos.” Founding member of the rock band “The National,” Dessner says “Anastasia and I had an amazing day in the studio recording works for the new album and her playing completely impressed me. I wrote this piece while in Finland some years ago, and although Bach’s music was forefront in my mind, the inspiration came from the incredible Finnish landscape and house “Ainola” where the composer Sibelius lived.
