Olmarin Unioni is a Tampere-based jazz quartet. Founded in 1998, they have played together for over fifteen years and recorded two albums, Olmarin Unioni in 2004 and Peaceful Minds 2005.
As their musical inspiration, the band mentions the great jazz masters of the 50's and 60's, like Thelonius Monk, Charles Mingus, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon and Wayne Shorter. Also you can hear rhythm & blues influences in their music.
