Info for Supernova (EP)

Berlin-based Future Palace have been proving for years that post-hardcore doesn't have to be a label with limitations, but rather a space brimming with possibilities. In the music of singer Maria Lessing, guitarist Manuel Kohlert, and drummer Johannes Früchtenicht, the furious outbursts of despair lash out against the quietest moments of resignation, rich instrumentals meet epochal electronic productions, and bone-chilling screams contrast with soaring melodies. With their ever-evolving artistic approach, Future Palace embody the highs and lows of human life, which consistently form the central themes of their songs. The band offers intense insights into the depths of inner struggles and addresses topics of mental health that remain far too taboo in society. In recent years, Future Palace have established themselves as one of the most exciting alternative metal acts in Europe, fueled by their intense live energy and a steadily growing international fanbase. Their recent North American tour marked the band's first major adventure across the Atlantic, garnering rave reviews and significantly expanding their global reach. In Europe, their last headline tour set new standards, with numerous sold-out and upgraded shows. Now, Future Palace are opening a new chapter: with Deep Blue, the title of their new single.

That Future Palace, with their profound and insightful work, have become a sought-after alternative metal act across Europe in such a short time is no wonder given their captivating artistry, yet it seems all the more remarkable considering the many adversities they faced in the early days of their career. Their 2020 debut album, "Escape," faced particular challenges due to the then-raging COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, numerous increasingly large concerts and tours across Europe, including shows with Electric Callboy and Annisokay, have unequivocally established Future Palace as one of the most noteworthy bands of our time.

The band finally embarked on their first-ever European headline tour two years later, with their second album, "Run," which has garnered over 40 million streams across all platforms, in tow. Most of the concerts were either sold out or upgraded to larger venues.

In September 2024, Future Palace released their most ambitious album to date, "Distortion." The accompanying autumn 2024 tour took the band across Europe – once again featuring many upgraded and sold-out shows.

The ever-increasing international demand is also reflected in their festival appearances: Wacken Open Air, Rock am Ring, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, Novarock, Summer Breeze, Full Force, and Greenfield – Future Palace have proven themselves on Europe's biggest stages.

In 2025, the band embarked on a new chapter: With over 65 million streams, 11 million YouTube views, and a strong presence on playlists like New Core, All New Metal, and Kickass Metal, Future Palace set out on their first-ever headlining North American tour. The journey has only just begun – and Future Palace are here to stay.
