Gábor's compositions are rooted in the European musical tradition, but they also often wink towards jazz-rock, funk, or fusion music. However, they are always characterized by being emotionally united and offering easy points of connection to the listeners.

Gábor is a jazz pianist whose music is influenced by many modern trends. He is mostly active with the formation of two trios, the Hungarian Gábor Csordás trio and the international Swansong trio. The characteristics of his music are harmonic freshness, catchy melodies and unexpected rhythmic solutions.

The characteristics of his music are harmonic freshness, catchy melodies and unexpected rhythmic solutions. Gábor's compositions are rooted in the European musical tradition, but they also often wink towards jazz-rock, funk, or fusion music. In 2019, he toured in Japan, in 2022 and 2023 in Germany, and is planning his first performances in China in 2023. The debut album of the Csordás trio "Chasing a dream" won the album of the year award in 2022 on NativeDSD.com. In 2019, at the Bujtor film festival, Egodetox his music for the film won the best soundtrack award.

Matheus Borges
Percussionist, Guitarist and Composer from Brazil, currently based in Budapest. “Born and Raised” - and still - a guitar player, but with a heart that beats like a drum. After playing and studying diverse percussion instruments found in the Brazilian Pandeiro his main form of musical expression. He is an active musician in Budapest, playing Jazz, Brazilian and Latin music. There he helped to found Budapest Choro Club, a project that brought Brazilian Choro to Hungary. Also, he collaborates with groups such as ArrastaPest, Sulamerijazz and many other artists from the scene, playing a diverse array of musical genres. His mission now is to keep developing and expanding the possibilities of the Pandeiro as a universal instrument. This recording showcases the instrument as the percussive heart of the Jazz trio, demonstrating how big this 10” drum can be.
