Info for Grace
"GRACE" unfolds my experience as an adopted Korean in Belgium, weaving together melodies that offer comfort and solace. This album feels especially intimate, reflecting my personal journey and emotions as a father and as a human.
It’s all about creating a serene space, where you can find peace amidst life’s chaos. Expect a collection of resonant tracks featuring my original work alongside beautiful pieces by artists like Yiruma, R. Sakamoto, E. Gismonti and S. Myers.
As a classical guitarist, composer and producer, I aim to share sounds that uplift the spirit and invite reflection.
Featuring the incredible talent of Anna Tsuchiya and original compositions by brilliant composers like John Metcalfe and Debbie Wiseman—who masterfully capture the essence of ''Grace''—this album is a sonic journey that invites you to look to the sky.

His extensive repertoire spans classical, pop, and innovative compositions, captivating audiences around the globe. Born in Korea and adopted by a Belgian family at just nine months, Denis began his musical journey on the guitar at the age of seven, quickly showcasing his talent by winning his first competition at fourteen, earning recognition from Belgium’s SABAM copyright society. He obtained diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and Mons with honors and studied under renowned masters like Sergio Assad, Alberto Ponce, and mainly Odair Assad. Celebrated as a "Rising Star" by the European Concert Hall Organization, Denis has graced prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall and the Berlin Philharmonie. His acclaimed album "Elegiaco Concerto," featuring works by renowned composer Leo Brouwer, has been cited as 'historical,' solidifying his place in classical guitar history. As an entrepreneur, he achieved milestones like producing Korea’s inaugural New Year's gala concert with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Zubin Mehta and serving as artistic director for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
His collaborations with prominent artists such as Sumi Jo, Insooni, Anna Tsuchiya, Kim Bumsoo, and Pak Sunzoo showcase his vast scope in the entertainment industry. Denis's journey has been highlighted in documentaries that showcase his inspiring story. His artistry is characterized by a blend of 'sublimated tranquility' and 'imperious fervor,' and his commitment to humanitarian efforts as an official partner and “Companion” of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) reflects his dedication to advocating for underprivileged communities worldwide.
