Info for Accordion and Violin Dances from the World

If ICHNOS, from ancient greek, indentation and then refers to the tangible sign of human passage, violin and accordion are ideal tools for transferring a timeless emotional and sentimental. The concert offers a course in which you perform diverse compositions ranging from tango caught, soundtracks until reaching interpretations of the classic masterpieces through original songs by the same authors. The duo Ichnos, as well as established business has developed numerous concert performances as on RAI television Educational for 'The Bible day and night' and TV2000 on the weekly program program 42.12 Mediterranean Europe. In addition to several interviews on various television and radio networks.

Their album, ICHNOS AND DANCES FROM THE WORLD contain original compositions by the same authors and original arrangements of scores belonging to various genres of music (from original songs to tango, soundtracks, music with influences from klezmer to jazz transcriptions of Piazzolla). The peculiar feature of this chamber music duo is the perfect integration of very different musical personalities: the academic and geared to the classical training of violinist Guido Felizzi and the most devoted to jazz and experimental sound of the accordion player Marco Lo Russo. Is reflected in the arrangements of the compositions of repertoire in their respective scores, these features make training extremely original and ICHNOS which expresses its own way even in very classical scores.

Their uncommon instrumental skills and a great curiosity about music from all genres and time has meant that the duo Ichnos can deal confidently with any linguistic territory, the statement 'Baroque' until recently explored 'experimental' feeling always at ease. Thanks to their versatility and abetting these two artists play instruments like the violin and accordion stereotypes from those who see them relegated into two distinct and incompatible musical worlds.

„The music is current as of the DUO ICHNOS inspired by the past [...] Two professionals, two lovers, two researchers sensitive and consistent through the streets of ethnic music referring to the dictates of classical music who has studied and really know [...] the violin and the accordion are ideal tools for transferring a timeless emotional and sentimental.“ (Deltadischi)
