Info for Coco Bingo

Twenty-five years after his international breakthrough with "Starlight," French producer Guillaume Atlan—better known as The Supermen Lovers—has released his new album, "Coco Bingo." The Parisian musician is a prominent figure in the French House scene, which achieved global success in the early 2000s. His 2001 hit "Starlight"—defined by its funky bassline, infectious vocals, and signature disco groove—remains inextricably linked to the "French Touch" movement to this day. With "Coco Bingo," Atlan stays true to his musical roots; the album blends electronic house rhythms with disco and funk elements, continuing the style that first brought The Supermen Lovers international acclaim.

In the lead-up to the album, The Supermen Lovers released several tracks that offer a glimpse into this new body of work, including "Coloque Seu Canudo," "One & More," and "Dancing In The Rain"—the latter featuring a collaboration with British singer Kye Sones. These advance singles showcase various facets of his musical signature, in which melodic elements and danceable grooves play a central role. The hallmark combination of electronic sounds and influences from classic funk and disco remains, echoing the very blend that allowed Atlan to establish himself within the international dance scene a quarter of a century ago.

Even his most famous track has seen a recent revival: in 2025, Guillaume Atlan teamed up with OneRepublic to release a new version of "Starlight," introducing the classic to a whole new generation of listeners. Now, with "Coco Bingo," the focus shifts once again to fresh, original compositions. The album is set for release on October 30, 2026, and represents the continuation of a career closely intertwined with the evolution of French House. While electronic dance music has branched out in many directions since the early 2000s, The Supermen Lovers remain committed to their signature style—characterized by melodic basslines, funk, and disco. “Coco Bingo” brings these influences together in a new collection of tracks.
