JUNO Award-winning ensemble L'Harmonie des Saisons returns with a brand new recording of some of J. S. Bach's best-known concertos, including Concerto for 2 violins in D minor; Violin Concerto in A minor; Concerto for oboe d'amore in A major; Concerto for oboe and violin in C minor; and Harpsichord Concerto in D major, all performed by guest soloists or members of the ensemble.

L'Harmonie des saisons
Founded in 2010 by codirectors Mélisande Corriveau and Eric Milnes, Ensemble L’Harmonie des saisons inspires audiences with its fresh and unique musical approach. After presenting over forty different programs in more than 150 concerts, the ensemble, which performs on period instruments, continues to expand its acclaim throughout North America and abroad. Their recordings on the ATMA Classique label (Las ciudades de oro, Pardessus de viole, Marin Marais : Badinages, Solfeggio and Bach au pardessus de viole) have been the recipients of two Juno prizes, two Opus prizes, Radio-Canada’s Recording of the Year, are among the CBC’s Top Ten CDs of the Year, and have been listed on the Apple Music prestigious Top Ten Classical Recordings.
The ensemble, featuring international guest artists, hosts a prestigious series and has been featured at international festivals across Europe, North and South America. They are the recipient of numerous grants from the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Musicaction Foundation and Montérégie and Eastern Township municipalities.
Eric Milnes
has established an international reputation as conductor, harpsichordist and organist through his many performances for the most distinguished festivals and presenters across North America, Europe, South America and Asia. As a director of ensembles such as L’Harmonie des saisons, Montreal Baroque, The Portland Baroque Orchestra, The New York Collegium, New York Baroque, Seattle Baroque Orchestra and Les Délices he has recorded over fifty CDs and led countless performances, radio broadcasts and television productions. He has been the recipient of 2 Juno Prize for Recording of the Year (Vocal/Choral) the Opus Prize for CD of the Year (Early Music) and as recording producer was awarded Gramophone Magazine’s prestigious CD of the Year in 2018, the first North American recording to do so. Milnes holds degrees from Columbia University, and The Juilliard School (New York), and his work in church music was recently awarded The Bishop’s Medal for Distinguished Service to the Episcopal Church in New York. He is most proud of the achievements of his two daughters Mary Leah (Vanderbilt University, 2015) and Hannah (Columbia University, 2016).
