Info for Modern Times: Ravel, Arensky & Srnka

As the Trio Pantoum's name refers to Ravel, it makes sense that the French composer is also on the programme of the ensemble's first recording. However, the musicians of Trio Pantoum do not want to commit themselves to a single aesthetic, but rather let themselves be guided by their curiosity and explore a repertoire that is as diverse as it is rich in contrasts. On their debut album, they set numerous accents by combining their favourite score with the somewhat forgotten Russian Romantic composer Anton Arensky and one of the new figures in Czech music, Miroslav Srnka.
