Info for NAKAMURA
Aya Nakamura is a French R&B singer of Malian origin, currently known for the #1 hit single Djadja. Coming from a family of griots (West African story tellers/singers/poets), who emigrated to France, Aya followed fashion courses in Paris and later went into music, taking the name Nakamura. Propelled by the African–tinged, club-ready single Comportement she released her debut album Journal Intime in August 2017, with guest appearances from MHD and Dadju. In Spring 2018 she released Djadja, the first track from her sophomore album due Fall 2018, an instant summer hit that went through Europe like wildfire.
