The companion album to Blondshell's acclaimed new record, ‘If You Asked For A Picture,’ featuring Gigi Perez, Samia, and many more to her acclaimed 2025 album If You Asked For A Picture. The LP is an expanded and reimagined look at a record that’s already become essential, featuring both new and live Blondshell songs, covers by peers including Conor Oberst, Samia, and Folk Bitch Trio, and features from Gigi Perez and John Glacier.

Another Picture leads with a new single from Blondshell, ‘Berlin TV Tower.’ The track showcases Teitelbaum as one of the most vital voices in rock music today. Set against various European backdrops (beaches in Normandy, Berlin) it captures something quietly radical: being alone and feeling okay with it. Musically, it’s classic loud-quiet-loud Blondshell, a slow build from hushed intimacy to a soaring, grunge-soaked chorus, culminating in one of the most triumphant guitar solos she’s ever put to record. She elaborates:

“This is the fastest song I’ve ever written. I was in Berlin and I love that city so much. I was walking around and just writing things down that I saw. It’s a little bit about the city but mostly it’s about being alone and being okay with that for once. Also, I love the idea that you can start and stop and restart things whenever you want… in that way I guess it’s really just a song about having agency.”

Loudquietloud. The formula patented by Pixies, which gave its name to their documentary, is still a contemporary pattern that has been especially effective (Kim Deal's fault?) in American alt-rock singer-songwriters such as Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy and, sometimes, Phoebe Bridgers (and has also caught on with some Australians, like Julia Jacklin). L.A.-based New Yorker Sabrina Teitelbaum aka Blondshell, has also started her career following this mountain-valley-mountain arrangement. At least Olympus, one of her singles that has generated a buzz of excitement and drawn so much admiration (she is already going on tour with Porridge Radio), has everything that can be asked of a new indie-rock talent today: a classical air, lyrics without clichés (and they deal with sex, love/heartbreak and addiction) and youthfulness. In Kiss City, the other hit that has captured everyone's attention, she mirrors the illustrious languor of Hope Sandoval and Maria Mckee. Another indie niche that Blondshell nurtures with care, freshness and a spirit of renewal.
