Info for Once The Sun
Never before did Helge make a solo record. Until he came in April 2017 with the album The Days Of Young Petty Davis. An ode to his youth, in which he grew up with the music of Neil Young, Tom Petty and Miles Davis. It tasted like more and that's how the idea came to get back to work. A record full of songs that once started out as songs for films and plays, but were too good to pass up. Together with Dave Menkehorst he worked out the songs into an EP with an idiosyncratic and exciting sound.

Amsterdam based singer/songwriter and film composer Helge Slikker went solo in 2017 after being on the road with numerous bands, such as Storybox, Miss Molly & Me and Happy Camper. First album was called The Days of Young Petty Davis. New EP is coming up soon and is called Once The Sun. Upcoming year two more albums our being released.
