Info for Indus
Rooted in Skage Larsen’s compositions, the quartet performs original music with strong references to the American jazz tradition, yet with a fresh and modern expression. The compositions draw inspiration from a wide range of genres, including pop, soul, and classical music, an influence that is also reflected in the improvisations. Joining Skage Larsen in the band are two recipients of the title “Young Jazz Musician of the Year,” Sondre Moshagen and Steinar Heide Bø, along with the outstanding bassist Tarald Kongshaug.
