Federica Cardinali
He began studying the violin at the age of 8 with Prof. Giovanni Garavini and then obtained a viola diploma at the ISSM Giuseppe Verdi in Ravenna under the guidance of Prof. Luciano Bertoni with top marks and honours. She also obtained her Second Level Academic Diploma at the ISSM Achille Peri in Reggio Emilia with top marks and honours, under the guidance of Prof. Pietro Scalvini.

She studied with Christian Heubes and Béatrice Muthelet, members of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, with Simonide Braconi, first viola of the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, Daniel Formentelli, first viola of the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Adrian Mustea, first viola of the Bayerische Staatsoper, Stefano Zanobini, first viola of the Orchestra della Toscana, Luca Ranieri, first viola of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, Kati Sebestyén, Davide Zaltron and Olga Arzilli.

She was a member of the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana from December 2017 to July 2018 and was admitted to the second edition of the orchestral training course YO-YO: Youth Orchestra Youth ORT organised by the Orchestra della Toscana.

He has collaborated with various orchestras and conservatories with whom he has participated in concerts and festivals. In November 2018, she formed a duo with pianist Fabrizio Fogli. Thanks to the Erasmus + programme, she perfected her violin studies with Christophe Weidmann, first viola of the Noord Nederlands Orkest, at the Prins Claus Conservatorium based in Groningen (The Netherlands). In July 2020, she graduated brilliantly in violin at the ISSM G. Lettimi in Rimini.
