The NOLA Players
are a big band swing jazz orchestra from New Orleans, Louisiana. A total of 18 players, this group is a collection of New Orleans’ finest jazz and classical musicians who came together to bring their extraordinary talents to honor their beloved town New Orleans. New Orleans offers the unique blend of music, family, cooking, history, traditions both old and new all resulting in a diverse international intersection and a cultural gumbo of infectious celebration which can now be shared with a wide audience.

The NOLA Players embody the quintessential instrumentalist, each of whom has traveled the world honing talents, playing with some of the premiere names in music today, but remaining ever rooted in the homey roots of their beloved NOLA. Signed to AimHigher Recordings, their first collaboration will be released in the second part of 2016 to highlight that special time of year, with some of the most spectacular renditions of holiday favorites, which will be found in the highly anticipated collection, „Christmastime In New Orleans“.
