Info for EDEN BEACH CLUB
Multi-instrumentalist and composer Laurent Bardainne presents his third studio album "Eden Beach Club" together with his band Tigre d´Eau Douce. Following his internationally successful album "Hymne Au Soleil" from 2022, eleven new smooth groovy tracks are now being released that create a feeling of lightness and light-heartedness, in keeping with the theme of the album - a sunny day at the Eden Beach Club. Also on board: renowned guests such as singer Jeanne Added and Pupajim.
Classically trained at the Conservatoire de Paris, jazz saxophonist and composer Laurent Bardainne has played, composed and produced for greats such as Pharrell Williams, Cassius, Tony Allen and David Murray and has been active in a variety of formations in the past. After his highly regarded debut EP "Marvin", including the hit "Porsche 944", his debut album "Love is Everywhere" was released in 2020 together with his band Tigre d´Eau Douce. This was followed by his successful sophomore album "Hymne Au Soleil", which placed high in the French charts in 2022 with several million streams and over 12,000 units sold, making it one of the most successful albums of the year in France. 2024 Bardainne, who is currently one of the leading musicians of the new wave of European jazz, is back with a promising album that revolves around a sunny day at the Eden Beach Club. From exotic, adventurous sounds in "Serpent Kaa", to smooth, groovy bass and saxophone lines in "Eden" and "Meilleur", to dance anthems such as "Dance for Eternity", the album offers a broad spectrum of varied, beautiful tracks that let you float straight into the light, carefree world of the Eden Beach Club and evoke a very special holiday feeling. Vocal additions by Jeanne Added and Pupajim skilfully round off the album and make this unique musical work something indispensable for all jazz lovers and fans of good music.
