Robert Carl Blank
Born near Frankfurt am Main, the guitarist and singer of Czech descent learnt his craft from the ground up. Equipped with a drum computer and an old cassette recorder, Robert Carl Blank began writing his first songs as a teenager. At the age of 16, he practised as musical director for various band projects and demonstrated sensitivity in arranging and interpreting songs he had written himself. A little later, the eager young artist began experimenting with digital sound sources and tape recorders (now in his own home studio).

After a year abroad in England, Robert Carl Blank worked as a creative element in a wide variety of rock and pop bands in the Rhine-Main region from 1996 onwards - from providing impulses to providing fundamental direction. During this time, he also gained a lot of experience in recording and arranging as a session guitarist on various pop productions. As a founding member of the band Boxer, he increasingly composed his own R'n'B, soul and pop material for the group from 1998 onwards. On the debut album "Stick Together", produced by Edo Zanki, the now accomplished songwriter delivered six of the band's twelve original compositions, which included guest appearances as opener for international stars such as Elton John, Whitney Houston and Eros Ramazotti. ...
